Fox News has confirm it. Former Google CEO also commented on it.

The questions remain will it be ready the day it is announced? And will it have a DVD player? And will it have a virtual keyboard like the iPhone? Will it support more then wifi like AT&T network? And of course what will it be called. We have heard magic table, itablet, and many other rumores.

“Apple Inc. expects to ship 10 million tablet computers in the device’s first year of release, former Google Inc. Greater China president Lee Kai-fu wrote on his Web log, citing a friend familiar with the project whom he didn’t name,” Tim Culpan reports for Bloomberg.

“The Apple Tablet will be released by Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs next month and be sold for less than $1,000, according to the post dated Dec. 28,” Culpan reports. “The device will feature a 10.1 inch multi-touch screen with three-dimensional graphics and look like a large iPhone, Lee wrote.”

Culpan reports, “Lee left Google in September to start Innovation Works, a Beijing-based technology fund with investment from WI Harper Group and Foxconn Technology Group, whose flagship Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. is the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and supplier of Apple’s iPhone.”

“Sherry Huang, Lee’s secretary at Innovation Works, confirmed the blog post is his and couldn’t verify the accuracy of its content,” Culpan reports. “Lee didn’t immediately respond to e-mail queries. Jill Tan, a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for Apple didn’t answer calls to her office or cellphone today.”
